The house is located in a 50’s-60’s building at Simon Bolivar Medellin’s neighborhood. The main idea was to keep the colonial character adding a contemporary twist rather than a renovation from scratch. The new open-space plan, lets the light flow from the patios blurring the lines between inside and outside.
The neutral palette used on floor and tiles, make the orange painted walls, the black electrical lines and light features pop up. The extended use of natural finishing of wooden furniture keeps it warm and cozy.
